Mikkie Nettles-Pollon
I am a mother of 4, a Certified Holistic/Sports Nutritionist, BCRPA Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Trainer, Pre/postnatal specialist and Body building/Figure/Fitness coach and athlete myself. I have trained athletes for judo nationals and various other sports as well. Although athletes are fun, my true passion is to help people live a disease-free life, by preventative measures through proper exercise and good nutrition.
So how did I get into the health field? First of all, I was born with a birth defect in my back and physical activity in the right amounts and type has been a crucial part of my life. Then when I started having kids, I wanted to be show how important it was to stay healthy and raise a healthy family through exercise together. I started Mama-Xise, exercise programs for moms; prenatal fit, stroller fit, mom and baby fit along with specialty pelvic floor classes for postnatal moms and menopausal women. This was my gateway into nutrition as it became quite obvious that you can’t outwork a bad diet. Food + Exercise = Success & Good Health. I also got into training stage athletes and competing myself. I learned through this that diet was everything. It was very interesting to me to see the vast changes once a proper diet for each individual, made all the difference to success on stage. Even though this was exciting, my real passion became people’s health. I say my specialty is weight loss, but really, it’s dealing with the issue(s) and working with each person independently, on how their bodies tick, then the weight usually almost always follows.
Every-body is different so not every-body responds the same. Seeing people come off various medications from chronic disease as Diabetes type 2, cholesterol, high blood pressure…. is the most rewarding thing I can help someone do.
Because I worked with many moms and families along the way, I have seen the financial hardships that some may face. I believe everyone should be able to access a trainer and nutritionist without breaking the bank. This is done through different challenges and workshops.

Dadye Teschl
HI! My name is Dadye Teschl. Who is Dadye? Well, first of all, you need to be able to pronounce my name. There are two ways to do this…
-
Dadye = Baby. Yes, it sounds the same and is almost spelled the same way. How to do this? You simply take out the B’s and replace them with D’s
-
Dadye = Daydee or Daydé. This is for those that dispute the spelling and pronunciation of my name and desire it to be phonetic or more French-like.
*Please note that Daydee is not aesthetically appealing. When I was to become famous... it just didn’t flow. The "y" chops it up and looks terrible on billboards and under the big lights. Thus, the spelling “Dadye”, looks so much nicer.
As you can see, I am a fun loving girl. I enjoy helping people to do the same. Part of being healthy is to appreciate and celebrate who you are!
Formally, I do have a background and education in the Natural Health Sciences, Administration and Exercise.
NHS: I took several years of Natural Health Sciences and although I never finished, my excuses were: living on one income, a husband that could not fend for himself, young family that I could not leave for the required several months to follow my dreams and graduate. I did, however, gain a world of experience and did obtain several certifications. One particular and exciting discipline was Iridology- look this up whenever you get the chance.
Exercise is part of who I am, always! I swam competitively and for regular activity. I also enjoy strength training, golf (walking the courses whenever possible) and jogging. I have run in many races and am proud to have completed a half marathon.
Administration: I have education for this. Once in a while, this can be fun, mostly it’s a bit of a yawner, but it has helped pay the bills over the years and for this, I am thankful.
Thank you for reading about me and on behalf of DEEM Health, I look forward to working with you and for you real soon!
