Mrs. Mikkie Nettles-Pollon

Certified Holistic/Sports Nutritionist, a BCRPA Personal Trainer

Mikkie is a certified Holistic/Sports Nutritionist, Personal Trainer, and more. Her passion is helping people lead disease-free lives through exercise and nutrition. She has worked with moms, to members with chronic illness, to athletes and has seen the impact of how a  tailored diet and exercise program makes all the difference. Mikkie focuses on improving overall health and addressing chronic disease like diabetes and high cholesterol. She believes good health advice should be affordable for anyone that wants to live a healthier lifestyle. 

Kaely Townsend

Client Care Co-ordinator

Kaely is one of the welcoming staff members you’ll encounter at our gym. With over eight years of customer service experience and a degree in business administration, Kaely is devoted to fitness. She was once a competitive swimmer but had to stop due to a shoulder injury. Now she likes to hike, workout and swim in Kalamalka lake. Kaely is now delighted to be part of the DEEM Health + Fitness team, where she assists members with their fitness goals.

Answer: Most of our members will start to see underlying results in about 6-8 weeks, this includes improved blood pressure, cholesterol levels, blood sugar ect. Noticeable physique changes can happen anywhere from 3- 6 months with proper nutrition and workout plans.

Lean body mass, percent body fat and measuring inches is a helpful way to determine if your efforts are working.  Healthy habits like exercising and a proper nutrition plan can change your lean body mass, giving you a sleeker and leaner look with the number on the scale stay the same or even increase.
